01
Independent protection
Keep each authorized environment inside its own security boundary.
A cross-platform mobile-security research program built around independently protected environments, explicit authority, and controlled recovery.
The premise
Mobile Cipher explores a mobile-computing model in which sensitive activities remain separated by governed cryptographic and authority boundaries rather than inheriting one device-wide trust decision.
What it is
NightFall Mobile Cipher’s Android workstream has expanded its integration and regression coverage, with 41 integration operations passing. Final platform build and runtime acceptance remain underway.
NightFall Mobile Cipher for iPhone now includes an implemented compartment registry and controlled lifecycle, with Debug and Release tests passing. The macOS build foundation is awaiting AWS capacity resolution before platform and device qualification.
Neither workstream is a publicly released production product.
Architecture
01
Keep each authorized environment inside its own security boundary.
02
Separate device access from permission to open protected information.
03
Make enrollment, revocation, restoration, and expiry accountable.
04
Maintain distinct platform workstreams under one security model.
Evidence
Current state
41
The recorded integration operations passed; final platform build and runtime acceptance remain open.
Implemented
Debug and Release tests pass for the current implementation.
Pending
AWS capacity resolution remains required for further platform qualification.
No release
No public cellular activation or production-device claim is made.
Results describe preserved controlled tests and their defined scope. They do not convert unfinished long-term objectives into completed capabilities.
Boundaries
Original work
NightFall Technologies considers Mobile Cipher's complete compartment, authority, recovery, and cross-platform security architecture proprietary, with enabling details reserved for confidential review.
Our approach to originalityCompany-wide governance
Product-specific capability does not override owner authority, neutral operation, transparent updates, accountable use, or the prohibition on hidden vendor control.
