NightFall Continuum

An independent presence-based network designed for private, stateful, low-latency communication without exposing a residential origin to destination services.

The premise

Continuum is not Tor, I2P, or a thin privacy wrapper. It is a NightFall-controlled protocol system with its own communication primitives, scoped presences, lifecycle proofs, and fail-closed control boundaries.

What it is

A service should see only a NightFall service-scoped egress presence—not the user’s residential address. Knowledge is partitioned so no single relay role is intended to hold both source identity and destination context.

Continuum is designed for applications that maintain state and care about latency: gaming, social communication, music, and ordinary browsing. Signing into a service can still reveal the account identity to that service; transport privacy cannot erase information a user intentionally provides.

PULSE, FLOW, and STATE serve as native communication primitives. NightFall Invisible Fabric provides the control, identity, policy, leak-prevention, and key-management boundary, while NPGC-SH supports protected semantic continuity through controlled transformation.

Boundaries

Privacy claims must remain exact

  • Source/destination separation and partitioned relay knowledge are established privacy principles; Continuum does not claim to have invented them.
  • Ordinary account login can reveal identity to the destination service.
  • Loopback and controlled-environment acceptance results are not equivalent to worldwide deployment proof.
  • Global-observer resistance remains a demanding design objective and must not be marketed as guaranteed until independently demonstrated.
